Soapbox is Now Part of MSN Video Beta

 
After working for several months, the Soapbox Team is proud to report - Soapbox is now fully integrated with MSN Video Beta.
 
Soapbox is no longer a dedicated site, but is now a part of the next-generation of MSN Video Beta.

  

 

If you take a look at the new site, you will see Soapbox User Videos is now a tab on the main MSN Video Beta navigation.
 

 

 

Some of the new features you will find on the new - MSN Video Beta:
 
  • Single integrated site to view premium MSN Video content and your Soapbox User-Created Videos.
  • Video Showcase - Highlights videos of interest, as well as most watched videos. 
  • Quicker Processing Speeds - New Encoding servers to increase your video processing times.
  • New Navigation - Find and search for videos using one navigation bar.
  • Expandable Screensize - Expand the site on a 16x9 monitor and the video gallery will increase in size gracefully.
  • Integrated Search - Integrated Search results for MSN Video, Soapbox User Videos and even Web Video results, all on one page.

  • Better Sort Filters - View Most Watched videos this hour, day week, month and all time, for Categories and Top Lists.
  • Enhanced Copyright Violation Messaging - If a video is flagged as copyrighted material, we explicitly tell you what the match was.
  • Support of New Video Codecs and File Extensions - Support for numerous types of disc drive video cameras and video formats and file extensions.
  • Updated RSS feeds. Soapbox Videos display in RSS Readers with native embedded player.
  • FullScreen option for Soapbox Embedded Player.
